Ojai Soul Arts Salon is a unique private artisan home sanctuary in Ojai California designed for guided weekend and midweek private spiritual spa retreats for self discovery, healing insight and clarity of life purpose (non-denominational, embracing world-wide sacred texts and wisdom traditions) hosted and facilitated by internationally recognized author, artist and spiritual guide, Ronda LaRue, M.S.

Sanctuary at Ojai Soul Arts is as multifaceted and varied as the people who come. What each retreat shares in common is a soulful intention to enter more fully into Life’s abundant creative mystery for reflecting ones inherent wholeness, inner wellbeing, creative genius and Self Realization.

Ojai Soul Arts is a special place of retreat that honors deep spiritual listening, self-discovery through the creative arts, ceremonial self realization, and rejuvenating spa along-side guided transformational processes and mentoring for meeting the difficult challenges, transitions, and sufferings that so often come to us at the very precipice of recovering our Soul’s greatest longing to live fully.

Out of respect for the unique complexity of each person, and the magical simplicity of Spirit’s vast intelligence, all individual retreats are organically-facilitated to meet the unique needs, timing, and readiness of those who come.

This center incorporates traditional & emerging wisdom into contemporary culture through heartful dialogue & compassionate action.

The mission of The Ojai Foundation is to strengthen individuals, families, schools and communities by teaching ways to listen and speak from the heart, to honor life's passages and to appreciate our connection with nature — supporting the emergence of a compassionate, sustainable and peaceful world.

Our programs and retreats invite individuals and groups of all ages to explore community, live close to nature, find renewal, build friendships and celebrate significant rites of passage through ceremony and quiet reflection.

For nearly 30 years The Ojai Foundation has been a living laboratory of sustainable living, solar power and off the grid technology, with buildings of straw bale, earth block, recycled materials and other green techniques. Enjoy our Permaculture gardens, rustic yurts and domes, and close kindredship with the natural world.

The practice of Council is at the core of all of the Ojai Foundation's programs. The Center for Council Training (CCT) sponsors trainings, in-school programs and supports our worldwide network of facilitators.

Long hailed as a triumph of the Arts and Crafts movement, Casa Barranca incorporated high principles that first evolved in Victorian Britain, in reaction to the human misery and environmental blight caused by the Industrial Revolution.

Reformers called for a new simplicity of design, one that mirrored a simplicity in lifestyle. The Simple Life did not mean self-denial, but rather a return to physical, mental and spiritual balance, an avoidance of excess and social striving, and an enjoyment of Nature’s bounty and tranquility. Nature was the ultimate source of inspiration, whether in home decoration, or for sane and healthy living.

Casa Barranca carries on the Arts and Crafts values by creating a self-sustainable community which nourishes creativity, allows for individual spiritual pursuits and employs organic permaculture practices. We embrace the time-honored traditions of fine craftsmanship, durability, sustainability, simplicity of design and lifestyle, and an intimate working relationship with the land. The ethos of Open Mind, Open Heart, and Skilled Hand lives on at Casa Barranca.
